Please stop with the man made horrors beyond my comprehension.

You want to create new human life to grow organs in it and then kill the unborn child. To save animals.
Demonic. Absolutely demonic.
You must have a very flexible spine.
Freaks.
Well, if you want to try again at some point, I can tell you they get progressively less scary as the game goes on because you’ll get a bunch of tools to deal with them. In the last third of the game even getting caught by one is nothing because you’ll have blood grenade launchers that can easily kill them. And for those who like the stealth way better, you’ll get a special tool to sever the BTs umbilical if you get near them (the game is very liberal in what it counts as near).
But with net neutrality it’s harder to remove sites like KiwiFarms. Like you can write to the hosts and make a stink but as we’ve seen in this example they can find ways to remain online or they can even conceivably host the site themselves.
But if ISPs can simply restrict access to hateful sites…
I’m sorry I can’t keep track. Are the democrats and progressives for net neutrality or are they for removing dangerous misinformation and hateful non progressive ideas?
The 10 point scale doesn’t make sense. Things can be bad, satisfactory, mediocre, good, and excellent. F, D, C, B, A. One star hotel, five star hotel. Etc.
Shadow of the Colossus is an experimental action puzzle game where you navigate a desolate world in search of 16 colossuses you need to kill by strategically and carefully climbing on their bodies.
This mechanic is probably familiar to many from other newer action games. This is where they stole it from, and SOTC still did it the best.
I loved the traversal mechanics in Death Stranding. Kind of made me realise that in all other games the characters are actually gliding and not walking.
I didn’t however like that the game gets a bit too actiony toward the end. And the MULEs and the terrorists stop being a threat when you get upgraded weapons, and the BTs once you have that golden handcuff thing.
I hope they address that in the sequel. The BTs should have been a lot scarier and the stealth a bit more refined.
Still an amazing game. I loved just doing the deliveries. There’s a meditative quality to it that I only previously saw in Shadow of the Colossus.
I haven’t considered that. Thank you for the context. I suppose the current European system is a bit of a tense stalemate/compromise because there are definitely many organisations around European counties, not to mention the Catholic and Orthodox Church, that are advocating for abortion to be banned.
There used to be a great site with pirated versions of Serbian and Croatian editions of Italian comics but I guess the copyright police finally shut it down…
I do have one more recommendation for Dylan Dog. Watch Cemetary Man, it’s basically a semi official adaption in everything but the name. The creator of DD Tiziano Sclavi wrote the script. Not sure if it’s on any streaming or digital distribution platforms so you might need to pirate it.
I really don’t understand why abortion is such a big and weird issue in the US. It’s not like Europe lacks fundies. It also seems very polarized in the US, with some (don’t jump at my throat I said some not all) pro-choice activists insisting on legal on-demand abortion during nearly the whole pregnancy but then on the other side pro-life activists wanting to ban Plan B pills.
Why can’t you just look at how most European countries have done it? On-demand abortion limited to the first trimester (generally) but with a bunch of exceptions for special and edge cases and when the mother’s life is in danger and when the pregnancy is a result of rape or incest. It seems to mostly work for us.
Oh that looks so interesting. I am from Serbia, and back in Yugoslavia, Italian comics were huge here, especially Sergio Bonelli, Magnus, and Alan Ford, of course.
As for albums, I have to admit I’ve rarely purchased them. I really think Italian comics are best enjoyed in the single-episode form (especially since unlike American comics a single volume of something like Dylan Dog is often around 120 pages, even going up to 300 for special episodes). You can find what little has been translated to English on Amazon. Lucky for me most of all the SB series have been translated to Serbian or Croatian with new editions being only a few years behind the Italian. I typically just go to a comic store and browse to find random volumes I haven’t read before.

This seems to be a good list of interesting episodes and collections for new readers to check out.
True but that’s how it’s always been. Most people who make emulators do it for the challenge or because they care about game preservation or both.
And they’ve done some wonderful things. One of my favourite things ever is the Nintendont launcher on the Wii. It lets you play GameCube disc images on the Wii natively. Even lets you use the normal controllers instead of having to plug in the original GameCube ones.
We must cleanse reality itself from people we don’t like. If someone has so much uttered one problematic world in the course of their lives, they’re a Nazi chud, they must be killed, and their memory damned.
Anything less and you may as well be genociding minorities.
Lol, this is supposed to be the community for unpopular opinions. But it’s not really, is it? It’s the same as the one on Reddit. It’s the OpinionsWePretendAreUnpopularToMakeUsSeemMoreIntellectualAndBetterThanTheNormies community. Doesn’t really roll off the tongue.
Yeah PSP games are trivial to emulate. My 2015 MacBook Air can run PPSSPP with ease, the games look great with the upped resolution.
Eh, if you want to play retro games just buy a used console, mod it, play pirated games. Of if your PC is good enough just emulate.
I love how the author of the article says that From Software should put out ports of the old games (and maybe remaster them while they’re at it) but you know when they review the package they’ll give a low score, say the game “really show its age” and “is only recommended for hardcore fans.” Well, the hardcore fans have played the originals and if not, they know how to emulate or pirate old games to use with original hardware.
