No, I understood. I was saying I wasn’t being sarcastic, and that I genuinely appreciate other people’s perspectives. It’s why I’m here! 😊

If you work in dev/test/qa labs, there are a million reasons you’d need access to the BMC/KVM. It would be foolish to attempt things like firmware updates or testing the install of an upcoming release without it. Most modern BMC solutions also have a central management application that allows you to push firmware updates to all your hosts at once. And if you need to change properties like UEFI trusted certs, change boot from San parameters on the hba, or boot in legacy mode, you generally need “physical” access, at least the first time.
A decent KVM on an oob network can also remove the need to add jumphosts as an entry point to private testbeds. My job would be 10x as difficult without them.
This sort of device doesn’t have that level of feature set, but even so, it could be very useful where I work, especially as it can power cycle systems or automate button presses with add-ons.
So I’m really bad about remembering to add comments to my code, but since I started using githubs ai code assistant thing in vs code, it will make contextual suggestions when you comment out a line. I’ve even gone back to stuff I made ages ago, and used it to figure out what the hell I was thinking when I wrote it back then 😆
It’s actually really helpful.
I feel like once the tech adoption curve settles down, it will be most useful in cases like that: contextual analysis
I mean, isn’t that kinda the point of the comments? 90% of why I read them is to get other people’s perspectives.
So yeah, thanks for sharing your story, no /s ♥️
Why would finding the id of a YouTube channel be against the tos? It’s used in many api calls to pull info about a channel. An API that is provided by YouTube…
This must be the current default behavior if you have personalization disabled. I’ve had it off forever and mine does this too.
They generally have quite a few other things in them that could make you feel sick. Like a ton of b vitamins and various herbs. It could also be you react badly to the sweeteners in it.
Homeless does not necessarily mean jobless. You still have to file taxes if you want a tax return. It’s a lot cheaper to live out of a car and have a PO box than it is to get an apartment.
As a gay furry, it’s true I would do a lot for head scritches and treats, but I’ll happily give hugs regardless ♥️
