I’d go with a PDR specialist. I will cost a few hundred $ and paint will need to be restored but the panel should come back to original shape.

I have a 2012 manual Mazda3, and I was under the same impression as you : if I were to buy a new Mazda3, an NA manual would be more fun to me than a Turbo. Even though it’s less powerful in theory… it must be way more engaging. Happy to read that a real life test drive confirms it.
