It depends on how the T is configured. If you really want comfort for longer trips, some of the options the T might have come with could detriments (carbon seat, for example).
I have a T with carbon seats and routinely do 8 hour highway drives. The increased NVH on the T isn’t a big deal.
T will probably hold value a little better, especially if it’s a manual car.
