The EV6 is a great car but go for the Tesla IMO, if you’re traveling on business you won’t have time to fuck around with chargers.

I’ve never had to wait to charge, Supercharger sites are usually very over built in terms of capacity.

Yeah, it’s the same distance to move your eye down versus off to the side. I like not having stuff glaring in my face now at night, it’s less fatiguing.

I haven’t driven my Boxster since I picked up my Model 3, it’s been a year… I really should just sell it. I can’t wait to replace my wife’s car with an EV.

The phone style interface a lot of companies use would be extremely irritating though. I don’t wanna scroll through multiple “apps” to get to key features of the car. Tesla definitely does this right, you basically never need to go into a menu after you initially set the car up.

It really is a game changer, much like standard active cruise control was when that became widely introduced. Remember the old days of having to adjust the speed with the button or turning it off every time you came up on another car?

Last long trip was 11 hours and I did it myself and got there with no fatigue. The other times in gas cars I would do 5-6 hours and have to swap with my wife because I was so tired. Even just the micro managing constantly of lane corrections really uses a lot of energy.

It’s quick and fun to drive while still being cheap per mile. Also I wanted the features. Not getting into a sweltering car in the summer or a frozen one in the winter, and instant heat is a huge plus too. Also AP.

Getting into my wife’s car feels like driving a horse and buggy… I thought that the lack of buttons would be annoying but honestly I prefer it now, anything you need to use often is always displayed on the screen with no need for menu diving. HVAC aside which is a quick flick of the finger to adjust vents as needed, no reaching around to multiple ones to adjust.
