The only reason I never used Risa in the first place was because I left amicably. They proceeded to start an unholy amount of shit after the fact which sort of wiped out any respect I ever had for them in the first place. So… Risa.

It is honestly so fucking annoying how often this happens. They say it in the tone of a joke because they want to make themselves laugh out of discomfort. But when you double down and say that you were not interested at all, suddenly they get insulted and upset. No one cares about you straight boy. You’re boring. Fuck off back into the sea of nobodies.

The tl;dr though? The admins of startrek.website are the same guys who made the subreddits on reddit and the ones who were responsible for giving those subreddits an extremely bad name. If you ever noticed a ton of subreddits for the individual episodes, even multiple for each, it’s because of people who were running from them. They are psychotically abusive of their position, remove people for little to no reason, suppress any argument/position that they find distasteful, have completely misunderstood literally every single that that Star Trek teaches and personally harassed me by contacting admins from both multiple lemmy instances as well as my Mastodon instance to attempt to get me banned. Why? Because I was one of the biggest posters on their instance who noticed their abuse and left, taking the other big posters with me.
In short, they’re thin skinned psychopaths who have no business calling themselves Trek fans when they have shirked every single duty to the truth that anyone in the Star Trek fandom has.
