I think you’re missing the point a lot of people make.
A 1998 Camry, a “boring” car, had 10 color options, not just black, white, silver and gray (and maybe one blue). Today, so many cars have a limited color palette it’s a shame. You may not like them, but the option to get a variety of reds, greens, blues, etc. was neat.
Widely may be a stretch, but if you want a .2, Porsche raging green was an available option.
Don’t forget their garbage paint.
It’s definitely harder to find non-black interiors as a general matter, not just 911s.
