1 year agoI test drove the Ultimate trim and liked it. I’m surprised you find it comfy though, as an average height person I felt there wasn’t much head room. When I lifted the seat to highest position, my hair was touching the roof. I was seeing 2023 models going for about $17k off with incentive about a month ago. They sold out pretty quickly though. Ended up with ID.4.
I upgraded from a 2014 Subaru Forester so it was a few days of honeymoon phase where everything was amazing.
Now it’s suffering all the little annoyances as you mention. Most annoying to me is the inconsistent behavior of the automatic lift gate. Also yesterday I was backing out of the garage and it braked automatically, couldn’t figure out why.
But when I bought I consciously wanted to go for a more comfortable ride than say a Tesla, knowing the trade offs of the technology side. It’s leased so I’m still thinking of switching for a Volvo when the lease is up.
