Season six of Community ‘aired’ there.
I’m still pissed at NBC for selling “Six Seasons and a Movie” merchandise and then canceling after season five.
(And the movie is still coming.)
I would never trust anything Kennedy said.
And he’s probably disgruntled about it.
Excellent delivery.
The DM then sits back and eats pizza as they put his furniture together.
Except for the fact that Vincent is only there without Jules because Jules quit. And Vincent was in the toilet because he was constipated because he’s a heroin addict.
If Jules hadn’t quit, Marcellus would not have been there. And Butch wouldn’t have known about any of those developments.
Although to back your theory up, Jules would’ve never left for doughnuts.
As a very regular user and the child of drug counselors, I wish you the best of luck. This of course a willpower thing but it’s also about reinventing your life to limit the scenarios that encourage your use.
I think you’ve got this. If the desire to change leads you to act to change these habits, you’ll be in a better place to make those changes.
And let this be a warning to you about other drugs and your potential susceptibility to them! Pot might be just pot in a lot of people’s minds but it is still a habit forming substance.
Probably. Same way they called them violent sex predators. They aren’t trying to contribute to a conversation.
My sense is that they don’t think there is such a thing as rehabilitation and would prefer execution. But that’s my personal smell test.
Seinfeld treated comedy like math.
A joke can be perfected, whittled down to a perfect and easily repeated core. And once you have enough of those, you can just juggle them.
He didnt hang out and get high and drunk with the other comics, he went home and studied the Tonight Show.
I think his greatest weakness is that he can’t read a room very well. That isn’t a skill he prioritized.
Also rehearsing a joke to death the way Seinfeld does makes it seem like you’re listening to something memorized rather than spontaneous.
I saw him live a few years ago. He wasn’t my favorite but I’m glad I went.
Seinfeld is now using the Uno reverse card on those comments explaining to Tom Papa, “If you’re Lindsey Vonn, if you’re a champion skier, you can put the gates anywhere you want on the mountain. She’s going to make the gate. That’s comedy. Whatever the culture is, we make the gate. You don’t make the gate, you’re out of the game. The game is, where is the gate? How do I make the gate and get down the hill the way I want to?”
This doesn’t read as a cop out to me. He is acknowledging that he has trouble hitting certain audiences because things have changed, and now realized he needs to change to meet the game and appeal to the more modern audiences.
And that makes perfect sense. Seinfeld’s comedy is already a part of our cultural DNA. He needs to evolve to remain relevant.
It’s the next big thing.
Definitely, my situation would not be normal in Minneapolis, where I was born and grew up. There it was a little more chaotic, longer lines, but still not terrible.
Minnesota hasn’t been one of those states desperately trying to keep people from voting, thankfully.
And we are trying to keep it that way.
We don’t have these issues here in Minnesota. Plenty of polling places, short lines.
Here in Duluth I live right across the street from the church that is a polling station. Never taken me more than ten minutes including the walk there and back.
Probably for at least a year.
I’m doing fine really, just stressed about money. Working overtime where I can and keeping expenses low.
I play D&D with friends twice a week. Low cost, high imagination way to hang out.
The main issue is that we took in someone in need this last summer who can’t pay their own way and for now, we are shouldering the difference.
It’s worthwhile but taxing.
Yup, like the others, I’m broke. Month to month barely getting by. Gotta trim back where I can.
That deserves its own sequel.
Diarrhea 5: Well Shit, You Can Shart on Aliens Now
How many people had concentration that high, and how did it get that high?
I would hope it wasn’t just from using Teflon pans every day.
But with a sample size of 30k, they would be unlikely to get people who might regularly come into contact with it in a manufacturing setting.
I prefer cast iron anyway.
