Technically true although deceptive.
All the better for you then. :)
Toothpick. Wood only. Never do this with metal.
Now if only the hardware wasn’t subpar and the OS unusable…
Paper_Phrog@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Google is killing privacy sandbox and keeping third-party cookies in Chrome.English1·1 month agoYou’d be surprised, but most clicks in the SERP go towards ads. Shopping being nr 1 and then (paid) search ads.
You’d cringe about the things people search and then click ads (even if matching was a mistake and not relevant at all).

Also, TIL about the 6-8 hours. That’s a long time actually.
You definitely can easily tell led from oled. No need for a side by side test.

BRB coffee time.

Fair, the French will just curse at you in French and look angry.
This is true. But the general rule of thumb is that the farther you are away from a big city, the worse the understanding of English will get.
Try speaking English in a rural Dutch town and you will get hilariously broken English. There’s a famous book about it - Make that the cat wise. Full of literal translations that make 0 sense.

Paper_Phrog@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What were you surprised to learn wasn't actually normal?2·2 months agoShaking the towel is not weird IMO. I do that always because sometimes those dryer lint balls stick to laundry. I’d hate to get that on my wet body.
The body spray, I put on deodorant before sleeping to keep my pits fresh since I shower before bed. Works wonders!
Paper_Phrog@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What were you surprised to learn wasn't actually normal?3·2 months agoO my god. This is so relatable. I was 14 or so when a girl in my class told me I need contact lenses because I couldn’t read the school board unless I sat in the front (spoiler, I sat in the back).
And I was like nahh. Then I got a checkup and I was already at like -2. Then I wore lenses for years and I absolutely hated them. They stick to my eyes. Then only at like 18 I got glasses (not cool to teenage me) and I never switched back.
Maybe they should give children check ups, at least once in their life lol.
Yeah, this worked well for me, too. The generic one you mention also had less side effects for me. There’s still the vivid dreams / nightmares, but less intense.
From Chantix /Champix I recollect the spider dreams and floor crumbling beneath me.
But hey, anything to quit smoking.
