So does the 718 that was still kinda of 2nd facelift of the 981
So does the 718 that was still kinda of 2nd facelift of the 981
more like bits from the facelifted cayenne
3rd gen in name, this seems to be just a 2nd facelift. (like the 718 is a 2nd facelift of the 981)
“New”.
Not a true 3rd Gen. It’s a 2nd facelift, it’s the updated 971 panamera. It has exact same dimensions from the outside, the the interior seems to follow the exact same structure.
I guess they are trying to extend this model, until the 2nd Gen Taycan kills the Panamera for good.
So does the 718, yet is the same car as the 981 with a 4 cylinder engine.
If you want to measure how different the car is by a number stamped in a sheet of metal instead of the actually body in the car, feel free to. To me they could even call it Kia Picanto, still looks like it’s using the exact same platform as the 2nd gen.
I’m pretty sure that this is like a 3rd facelift, same for the Cayenne. Abit like the 718 Boxster is a facelifted 981.2 (that is already facelifted)
this one is 2nd gen, just facelifted.
and front bumper is also exclusive for these models.
Not terrible, is actually pretty decent for a slushbox… but’s still a slushbox, not as fun or as engaging to drive as a manual, and the price reflects that.
If Tiptronic was almost as nice as manual, they would be much closer in price.
Your statement is right, but you only metioned shitty engines… I though you were going to talk about Naturally and high revving V12, V10 and V8s.
You have bigger engineering changes with for example 911’s
991.1 to 991.2 going from NA to turbos.
Or the 997.1 to 997.2 with brand new blocks and direct injection engines and going from torque converter tiptronic to PDK.
