Not better, but I am not advocating for the other extreme. I just think our media could stand to show more variety of what a healthy sex life can look like.
I mean to say that I am viewing the content without contributing to the total number of community subscribers, and if many others are accessing the community as I am, then the subscriber count underestimates the community’s reach.
I’m not subscribed but I check the community on my Local feed and read the articles regularly as a slrpnk.net member. This community might be in a unique spot where it is a relatively large community on an instance where many instance members chose this particular instance for content like this, so they access it via the Local feed.
Great article. These so-called Climate Havens are in for a rough time in the years to come. People in coastal communities that regularly get hit by hazards have a bit of a built-in resilience because most of the community has been through a disaster before. But there are lots of communities that the threatened area has expanded into and not only are there people not ready for a hazard like this, they don’t even expect it.
Not a teen here but the amount of sex that show characters have seems crazy to me and I genuinely think it affected me because I couldn’t keep up as an impressionable child. It’s ok to have lots of sex but do we have to act like that’s normal and that I should be suffering when I go more than a month without sex?
I didn’t get on TikTok because I didn’t like the content, not because of the format. If folks make good videos on Loops then I’m down.
Imagine downvoting on All
I don’t even care that much about the band stuff. I liked his movies when he was little, and when he started a gaming channel I realized I now find him very annoying. He comes across as full of himself and desperate for attention.
Elaborate please?
I know it’s a meme but can somebody set me straight? I swear I read somewhere that this narrative started with the research community saying, essentially, “we know a number of ways in which they might have achieved this feat but we aren’t sure which one they used,” but the entertainment/conspiracy communities heard “there is no explanation for how these people were able to achieve this feat.”
Forget the bills, why does she clarify no real kids?
You have shown me the truth

Because the idea that your success and well-being might in some part be down to luck is too big a pill to swallow for some people. Folks love to flaunt success despite the disadvantages they faced, but are so quick to reject that they had any advantages. In this case maybe not everyone wants to be just like you (not you you but them you lol). Maybe they don’t want your friends and your lifestyle, or somehow don’t have as much access to those, but they still want a halfway decent support system.
What gets me is that it feels like whenever you try to express, in person or online, there are a lot of people looming to say “Well I feel fine and I have friends I can talk to, so it’s actually not that you’re a man that is the problem here. You should work on yourself instead of blaming others.”
Thanks, wish I’d found this earlier.
