I know I’ll get downvoted for this but I want to love the T50 so much, but it leaves me a little cold.
The engine is clearly a masterpiece, one of the greatest petrol engines we will ever see.
I like the idea of simple, analogue, manual, real engineering.
But the design just looks so meh! Where the F1 was clean and minimal with form following function leading to a very handsome car, the T50 is very derivative and over styled IMO.
The rear end in particular is a mess. Its fussy and over designed and it looks like it sits so high at the rear because all the detail is at the top.
The front is better but could be mistaken for a Porsche or Alpine, certainly lacks an individual personality.
There’s nothing surprising about this.
Initially, supply is very tight, most are being bought on contracts through businesses for tax reasons.
limited second hand supply - holds value.
2-3 years later, all these cars come off contracts and suddenly the used market has strong supply.
excess second hand supply - value drops.
