You could also argue that without the rapid industrialization , payed for in Ukrainian blood, during the 1930s that stalin ordered the soviets wouldve lost the war. The soviets were barely able to hold back the nazis even after a huge boom in industrial productivity under the 5 year plans. If they had kept at there earlier pace of industrialization they wouldve been blown out of the water.

She does, but this isn’t England there’s no mass party system where there is much off election work to do. If your party doesn’t have any representation then it’s job is to get representation, and the only time you can do that is during election periods, especially big ones like the presidential season. Even party’s that have representation do most of there work during the campaign season. The Democrats ramp up there work and engagement multiple times over leading into the election.

The right thing to do in that case is what stein, and most of the pro-palestinian movement have done and call these people out for the trash they ,denounce them, and remove them from the gathering spaces. Granted Cheney is a different case then David Duke and it’s up to each group to decide where to draw the line. I personally would draw it away from a plutocratic war criminal like Cheney.
If not for moral principle then for strategic reasons, having those people around discredits you. The answer to the first is probably no since stein is a Jewish women so I don’t think she’d get along well with all the other white supremacists who think she’s sub-human. The reason he endorsed her was because she’s the only one who would end the war in Gaza and fight the “Jewish lobby”. If your a Zionist and believe that any action against Israel is anti-Semitic then yeah stein and Duke are the same. If you live outside that delusional world then you’d recognize dukes dislike for Israel and steins, (and most of the worlds) dislike for Israel come from two completely different values systems and world views.

Seems a bit of an exaggeration to say everyone. The population at the time of the revolution was around 2.5 million. Of that maybe 500,000 were the land owning white male “patriots” that would support the revolution and of those maybe half read or were influenced by Thomas Payne so around 250,000. We tend to attach a lot of significance after the fact to the American revolution, and Adam’s, Payne etc. Since it spawned one of the greatest empires the world has ever known but at the time it was a relatively minor tax revolt.
this isn’t even a matter of the world in general was smaller back then, France at that time had a population of 28 million. Payne would go on to have less success in convincing everyone there on his ideas because the scale is just so much more massive. Same with modern day.
