I have a BlueDriver. Not subscription based and it still works after years. Install the app on your phone, plug the unit into the OBD port, sync and away you go.

Your thumb is actually resting on the tab that needs to have screwdriver popped in under the U shaped part closer to the bulb. That part in the middle of the U is want’s holding this thing together.

Hatches in particular are a dime a dozen and many if not most don’t offer much of a driving experience.
