  • That is rough, I’m sorry you went through that.

I wish I had more to help except this but what I can offer is if you live near a Planet Fitness, I’m homeless and trans and shower there in the womens most days. It’s been worth it to push past that air of being watched and shower in the womens where I am comfortable. And they have an explicitly trans friendly policy and have historically stuck up for trans women under scrutiny.

Every single cis person and political party is responsible for how trans people are treated.

Stop using us as a cudgel for your ideas.

“I have zero noticable change in my life from Trump”

    That is super obvious.

Liberal cis folk saw what was happening and decided we were too political and that we ruined the vibe. Then you deliberately excluded us from the conversation. That wasn’t to help us.

  • The way many humans ascribe sex to people isn’t objective at all, and is socially constructed around what people expect and perceive instead of what is objectively true. I am intersex but people assume I was AMAB. I never was, and that diagnosis had severe health consequences for me, because it wasn’t true that I was AMAB.

The idea gender is based in “reality” of sex isn’t based in reality, and our current constructs around the subject of sex are outdated. All of these are social constructs meant to oppress us. Since intersex people are excluded, I can’t in good faith accept your whole premise.

The majority of the “truths” you are expecting me to accept require me to ignore my well recorded and treated reality… While I’m able to look at years of my bloodwork to see you’re wrong…
