I’m about ready to start disposing of these fucks.
One factor to keep in mind though, is human productivity only happens at that kind of speed if they (the citizens involved) feel like they are getting something back from the process. And Chinese disillusionment with their own economy is growing.
Exactly! There should be a browser extension for training YouTube’s algorithm and even other ones. I’ve been very comitted to never feeding that beast after midnight, so I thoroughly enjoy content thatd positive as much as I want.
Its not just validation for the deceased, but also for the people they loved and cared for.
On the other hand, the power vacuum his absence would cause could result in a Gorbachev-type taking lead.
Or a Stalin…
The goal wasnt to cause the least discomfort to both parties, the goal was to get the house vacuumed appropriately. What he was doing before isn’t relevant, because it wasn’t sufficient. What she was doing before isn’t relevant because she did more than necessary to reach a level of acceptable cleanliness.
So given the new amount, she wanted to split duties 50/50, he was focused on what he was doing before.
Somebody missed the schoolhouse rock that explained “compromise”, what a dullard lol
This.
Or a dead one
Its not election strategy at all, this prep for a coup attempt. He knows he’s lost, and now he’s whistling off the back porch prepping his dogs to dowhat he is too dumb and fat to do on his own.
There are many questionable practices in museum work, and of course the Lourve might be the one of the worst when it comes to that. But I have never been to place with sooooo many well preserved sculptures with super thorough explanations. I LOVE sculpture, especially the ones made with less than forgivable media for making mistakes. The Three Graces is absolutely captivating.
And the site of the easiest to plainly identify earliest example of graffiti. Some Viking wrote on it long ago “Half-Dan was here”
Yeah… but i’ve said that same thing several times this year alone. Seems like we can take a hell of a beating so long as theirs show’s to binge or something ¯\(ツ)/¯
I’ll come out and just say it: your comment, is so much my overall mood, that it literally is the most exciting thing I’ve read on Lemmy today.
I’m too mental to lead a revolt, but i’m sitting on pins and needles for someone(s) who is fit to lead, and i’ll be there to back them 100% the moment they do.
I’m sorry, but fuck Wendy’s. Yes, capitalism is in decline around us all, but fuck Wendy’s for deciding they’re gonna be the first in fast food to push that envelope to full-blown-shit mode. And their burgers are just eh.
(Hey, pssst… so, quoting etiquette typically means you’re not using the quoting carrot on something not in the the comment you are replying to without noting it in the comment somehow. I was staring very confused at my replies inbox for, like, 4-5 read throughs of your reply, because its an opinion I could have typed, and couldn’t remember at all lol. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️)
I know, I saw it, and I don’t envy franchisers who’ve fallen victim to it. But passing along the fuckery to an employee is so. not. ok.
Which is hilarious, because its not as if they pay enough people to be on shift at the same time so that they could make their menu items efficiently. The last 2 dozen times I’ve had to pick up someone’s order from one of 5 or so local Subway’s, they have had 1 single person running the entire joint. I’ve made it a point to ask every time I go:
1, and about half of them opened alone, and all were closing alone! (Even young women!!!)
Always gets met with some form of “Yes, or even busier, with the occasional half hour where nobody comes in”
Nope.
Its at that point I tell them to take all the time they need. And that they are dramatically underpaid and should riot…
No, for yours 😘
