We need EU tech and infrastructure. Even if their devices are cheaper or better. They will make use of a europe beeing dependent on china/USA. The same way russia already did this with their gas and oil. Luckily EU was able to deal with that. But China and USA have way more leverage.

I think large peaceful demonstrations are needed. The people need to go on the streets in vast numbers and make their opposition to trump visible for everyone. Just in a peacefully but strong way, not possible to neglect.
