1 year agoIf you just did the purge valve then yeah it could be gas cap. A $20 gas cap is way better than a used $20k car unless you got money to waste. Driving on it shouldn’t be bad in mean time

Probably a bad battery. The car is 10 years old, have you ever had it changed? If it was still running fine otherwise (besides the past transmission issues), put a new battery in
