I left out a lot of choice words because the powers that be on most sites take offense when you call a spade a spade, or when you compare said spade to spades that plagued the world during the 1930’s and 40’s.
It’s a real shame we are not allowed to say certain things on social media. While I agree with the sentiment sometimes, the ongoing events in Gaza make me internally wish for very horrible things to happen to certain people who have a specific ideology.

In an ideal world yes, but we’re talking about an extremist government that has some of the world’s heaviest weapons as well as nukes. And given their decades long bleating like sheep about how they’re the victims they will no doubt burn the world before that happens.
I’d love nothing more than to have a court order the two populations to swap places, to see how they like living in an open air prison. I mentioned sanctions because they are the only realistic option at the moment.
I hope one day soon the west will wake up from their collective guilt and hold these bastards accountable. I can’t see it happening in my lifetime, but one can hope.
Condemnation and bullshit UN resolutions that keep getting vetoed mean nothing. Countries need to start sanctioning Israel with or without American approval.
In our case, we’d love the army to be able to do it’s job and depend us. The Gulf Arab states can go fuck themselves with the high tech weapons they don’t even know how to use. I agree in time if things remain as is, a new group will emerge, especially given the nature of the new drone warfare.

No one’s ever stopped them before, and it’s unlikely anyone ever will. This is a good step for Lebanon internally. Unfortunately, I have very little hope for this or any other “positives” as long as Israel continues down their decades long genocidal expansionist path.
As a Lebanese, this is very welcome news,if it can actually be done. It’s a good first step, but that’s all it is, a first step. Hopefully one day we can talk about their right of return as well, although I won’t be holdingmy breath.
