No worries. Their music is just blah, basically. Background noise while waiting in line.
Looks like Little Tipsoo Lake. Tons of traffic through that area.

You say that like someone isnt going to immediately jump in and point out that Aisha was 9 years old.

We live in a fucked up world, and it turns out we always have. Sad stuff, man.
They also burned up a lot of great premises. But ya know what, that clip show was great. “It’s all terrain, dummy.”
Rick and Morty (also Harmon) did the same with the Mindblowers (or whatever it was called) episode. Also great.
I have a brand new 2026 colorado and the infotainment/bluetulooth is all fucked up, and sometimes it just doesnt detect my key fob. There’s a maintenance memo out for it,l but no fix, meaning service department can’t really do anything until a fix comes down. So im just made to wait for them to get around to fixing it. Thanks a lot, GM, you motherfuckers.

Sounds like they didnt “get screwed” by anyone – instead they counted chickens before they hatched, like fools. Maybe im wrong. I only have your vague sentence to infer from.

Ive had the same Timex for about 20 years now. Had to replace the strap a couple times and the battery, but the time keeping works like a charm and keeps perfect time. Mine is the leather strap with a white face and also shows day of the week and date. Not bad for a watch that cost me $20 a lifetime ago.
I do use a smart watch when im exercising though.

I can FLY on an eReader. I bump the font up a bunch and just go, baby. Love reading ebooks (i read them on an ipad mini). I was also Mr. Physical Books Forever. Boy was I wrong about that.

Big disagree. It was outrageous then and it would be outrageous now. The southpark movie was fucking mindblowing when I saw it in the theater. Parker and Stone push boundaries, and it works for them every time. Theyre kind of American heroes in my book.

The fuck? Howd they go and cast Oldman in the role as a little person when they had Peter Dinklage already in the film. Dinklage is a fantastic actor. And oldman playing the role on his knees seems akin to blackface.

He is moving the forest service HQ out of washington DC and shutting down research. Ive not heard that he’s closing regional offices.
Ive always felt like people think of the National Forests as National Parks or preserves, but theyre not. National Forests are mixed use allowing for recreation and industry.
Moving the HQ to the west makes sense to me since that’s where a bulk of the forestland is. And we know that stupid people dont like smart people and their ideas, so research was bound to get torpedoed by Trump.
Thanks for the heads up about the edit.
Certainly 100% anonymity isnt possible, even with a VPN. Best practice is always dont do anything online that you wouldnt want attached to your real identity/life.
I’m a proponent of privacy for the sake of privacy and as a right. Anonymity is the only way to ensure privacy. Seeking privacy does not inherently imply nefarious intent (not that you explicitly said it does). Sounds like Kagi wouldn’t be a good choice for me. And that’s OK. Thanks for answering my Q!
Honest question: if you’re paying for Kagi, how is that different than using a credit card for verification with Google? It would seem to me that you’re willingly connecting your identity in either case. Maybe i’m wrong.
Im a fan of Blazing Saddles… It’s got a lot of racism throughout and the Boomers loved it. But I cant stand The Big Bang Theory or Monk, and every Boomer i know loves those shows. Steve Martin is a comedic genius – he’s a Boomer and popular with the Boomers. I liked Dave Chapelle and that shit was racist AF. So I dunno where I stand anymore.
Wow. Thanks for the detailed write up and recommendation. I was graduated from high school when the show was first airing, but I just never took the time to watch it because i wasnt a car guy. Then i was aware that shenanigans were happening, but in my mind it was still just a car show. But now 20 years later, people are still talking about it. If I can find it, maybe i’ll give it a watch starting where you suggested.
Better than mine… Der MuskWagen.
Ive never watched an episode of Top Gear… Is it worth it and does it hold up?
Yup. Maybe someone from that religion can explain to you how they make it OK in their head, if they want to. Of course, nobody has to defend their religious beliefs to anybody else, so i hope it doesnt come across like im pressuring anyone.
