My coworkers would always tell me that when I worked in restaurants, but I never really figured it out with my A.D.D. brain and being distracted with serving customers. Now that I see it written out, that is helpful!

The transaction remains open until the end of the shift. At the end of the shift, the checks are closed out with the updated tip amount included in the final charge.
Going back to the picture…thanks, now I have to confirm the restaurants math is correct and I’m bad at math.
I like you, you’re a good human. Saving this for if/when it needs to be replaced in the future.
Well then I just suck at wrenching properly.
Sort of similar story for me, although not with one of these spare wrenches. I installed a new steering damper on a 2014 Ducati 899. I wasn’t able to get enough clearance for the torque wrench when installing it, so I used an extender. I don’t know what exactly happened, but I ended up stripping the bolt. At least it’s torqued correctly for now, and as an added bonus, with blue loctite! I feel bad for the next guy who’s going to have to replace that steering damper next. It’s probably going to be me, so fuck me. In actuality, it’s likely going to involve replacing that entire steering column…Fuuuuuck
Yup, I get it. We’re in LA and a bunch of our friends and neighbors are afraid to go out. It’s such a stupid situation.
Congrats on retirement! What are you planning on doing with your newfound freedom?
I really don’t understand why this trilogy needs to exist. Nostalgia I guess? These games were terrible and always a rent from Blockbuster for the weekend type jam and be glad you didn’t spend money on actually owning them.
Life Pro Tip - Jenny’s number also (usually) works at the grocery checkout line to get the advertised store member discount on items. Choose whichever area code you like, someone has likely set it up in the past.
Facebook absolutely builds ghost profiles for people who don’t have a Facebook profile. You see all of those “Like” buttons on non-Facebook websites? Those are cookies that are essentially tracking you. They may not have your first/last name or other personal data as a regular profile, but they can build a pretty damn good composite of you. As a Lemm.ee refugee, thanks for having me here!
No, they’re referring to The Outer Wilds. They’re absolutely right, The Outer Wilds was infinitely better than The Outer Worlds. Granted, they were doing different things but holy shit I wish I could replay Other Wilds for the first time again. One of the best experiences ever!
If you enjoyed Bioshock, it’s essentially Bioshock in space. Well…wayyyy more ‘space’ than System Shock, considering the gravity mechanics that Prey uses.
Close! It’s Naresh Fillion.
