Not sure why that one is being troublesome, I also can’t get it to work completely. Not all stuff is synchronizing. Sorry it’s not working right, I’m going to have to chalk it up to Lemmy being a bit rough around the edges sometimes. If you want I can try to remove it and force a re-sync, but I’m not sure if it would help or make things worse…
Anyone can create a community here!
Being on a smaller instance has the advantage that it tends to work ;)
I’m doing all right myself, but I can’t say the same for my girlfriend. Headaches, tummyaches, backaches, or whatever random thing it is today, there’s always something. She’s a few years older than me so I guess I have something to look forward to lol.
You don’t take your fridge with you?
Corrupted minds think alike
If you are comfortable with it you could share the contents of your docker-compose, that would make it a bit easier for us to give some pointers. Just be sure to redact any sensitive information (usernames, passwords, IP adresses etc.)
Glad it was of use! It’s cool to see peeps actually use this whole thing.
That specific community seems to be experiencing some problems. I’ve tried following their instructions but no luck so far. Keep trying, I will as well. Lemmy.ml has really been running like a square-wheeled bike lately, hasn’t it?
stay in bed until 2PM
Why do I feel so unfulfilled today?
I’d send them a link to the instance I’m hosting lol. If I weren’t, I’d probably direct them to join-lemmy.org with the explanation that any instance showcased there is probably good enough.
RemindMe! 2 days
…oh wait…
And if anyone is wondering, this Lemmy instance is not running on a Raspberry ;)
Why am I not surprised? Pirates tend to be at the forefront of these kinds of things :)
That’s some serious homelab if you’re maxing out 20A lol. Apart from some re-wiring I don’t think there is an easy solution for the power issue.
In terms of noise, do you mean the noise coming from the fans or is it vibrations? If it’s the fans, some acoustic foam in the server’s room would probably help.
I have to admit I don’t run my own homelab because I live in a tiny apartment. Most of my projects happen in a datacenter.
Did my part and created an instance in the hopes of offloading some of the bigger instances: https://rammy.site
No clue if and how I should promote it, though. Looks like it’s just me for now.
RCS could have been great if e2e were baked in from the start. Apple would not have had such a strong argument to stay with its own standard and we might not have found ourselves with this divide.
Part of me is sad that this is needed, but it’s also exciting to try something new
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am working on it.
