Set the temp leave it in full auto. The car knows when to run and not run the compressor or anything else based on temps. Just because then AC mode is on doesn’t mean the car is running it full bore when it’s below freezing. No you’re not hurting anything.

Audi Q8 etron probably leads in this regard. You can get a base model without the sunroof and it’s an Audi so its selling point is already general solidity, build quality and nvh.

Out of all the electric stuff upcoming bmw has me most excited tbh. This next platform looks to be really awesome.

The tendency of EVs seemingly burning alive by the most “reputable” charging station network outside of superchargers is concerning. I know gas cars can blow up too but I’m not gonna go to put gas in my Audi and have it burst into flames at no fault of my own. I feel bad for affected owners, that just sucks and they need to fix it like asap.

Eh idk bmws Knuea Klause stuff looks insane and a lovely time to transition frankly. Can’t wait for 2025.
