But I am a little concerned that the most popular VPNs rank the highest
Unpopular opinion but I think the acronym should be dropped entirely, its silly as it is. They should come up with some generalizing name of the alliance that would describe all of its members.

Does this not substitute as profit for them?
DeHuq2@lemmygrad.mlto World News@lemmygrad.ml•Russia’s War Economy Expands More Than Forecast Despite Sanctions6·2 年前Theres not as much support for USSR or even socialism as you would like to believe. Of course people are not antagonizing it as much as western countries do, but you should also take into account that Russia uses Soviet imagery exclusively as an aesthetic selling point and does not attribute its successes to socialism but rather to the “spirit of the russian people”. Experiences of older people are often dismissed as “grass was greener in my youth” and young people are very much fed distilled anti-soviet propaganda. The great problem with bringing back socialism to Russia lies with general political apathy of the people, getting through it would require rapid and substantial changes of the living standarts, be it good or bad. Best hope lies with China influencing Russian state, otherwise I see no “stumbling into socialism” on Russia’s part without some great disaster to kick off radicalization.

DeHuq2@lemmygrad.mlto Death to NATO@lemmygrad.ml•Western allies receive increasingly ‘sobering’ updates on Ukraine’s counteroffensive1·2 年前Your own definition: to steal, carry off, or abduct by force or fraud, especially for use as a hostage or to extract ransom
“Especially” does not mean “only”, it just signifies what kidnapping is most often used for. Using the term is simply not incorrect nor does anybody here assume Ukraine is doing that for extortion. Reaction to these actions will be equally negative even if you used a more “correct” term of forceful recruiting. And Ukraine really is special in that regard, as it frequently quite physically drags off actively and violently resisting people, something the West will not do out of a sheer PR nightmare, instead opting for more subtle ways of persuasion.
Why you are so intent to die on this hill is beyond me.

DeHuq2@lemmygrad.mlto Comradeship // Freechat@lemmygrad.ml•Opinions on Marijuana Legalization or on Cannabis in general?92·2 年前I think weed should be legalized in countries where its usage is a significant problem, but not in places where it did not have much presence to begin with. The problem with addictive substances is that once they take root they are extremely difficult to remove, especially if they have managed to become part of the culture, like in USSR, which put a lot of effort into decreasing alcohol consumption among the people, but only achieved meager results.
