I tried to do the same but this was 7+ hour drive and sudden bathroom breaks/ route detours and broken/unusable chargers added some deviation to the itinerary. There was one broken lone charger at a hotel nearby that I tried over and again to report on plugshare but the app kept getting error codes while attempting and ultimately my drive/ timeliness was more important at the time.
