Yeah, but no one thinks about them anymore. Sure, they did for a brief period there between ~2006 and 2014 or so with the G35/G37, but after that they disappeared into obscurity. The change to the Q naming scheme in particular did not help one bit.
That said, my dad had a 2012 M37x and that thing was actually legit. The center console/infotainment was typical Nissan garbage of the period, but the rest of the car was fantastic. Great ride, quiet, nice materials inside, and that wonderful VQ37 engine.
