Why pixel and not s23?
Below only the pros and cons according to me:
Iphone’s pros: 1. the same os, 2. same account, 3. Ecosystem, if you have any other apple products 4. probably longer support, higher resale price.
iphone’s cons: 1. 60hz 2. A lot of the cool stuff is locked behind a more expensive model, forcing you into buying a pro model to get the best device (used to be different; every iphone was a flagship) 3. Notifications (probably not a problem to you) 4. Keyboard (probably not a problem to you)
Pixel’s pros: 1. At the moment probably the best camera on a phone with android os 2. Clean android 3. The notifications and the keyboard are g.o.a.t. 4. Competition drives companies to provide better products fpr a lover price, so you would be able to buy 100$ buds or 150$ smartwatch and those things will be amazing. Prices in general are great and the selection of accessories will guarantee you can buy whatever you want. 5. You can develop stuff for an android phone on any machine, no need to have a mac like with xcode.
Pixel’s cons: 1. Moving from ios to android is not easy, if you have a lot of data shared with apple. 2. Google loves to cancel projects, i honestly do not feel comfortable with a phone from them. 3. Resale value will be like 150$ in 4 years when you would want to upgrade. 5. Price is higher compared to other companies with similar products.
If you want an android, i’d say the best phone when it comes to price/value is galaxy s23. This thing will be gtx 1080 for samsung.
A factory reset will not get rid of apple id.
A lot of people will tell you to clean your lenses, even if they are clean. A month ago or so a person did 2 photos, one with a pixel, one with an iphone, and had a similar result with the iphone, while photo from the pixel was okay.
You won’t get any help here. You best bet is to just google and hope someone had the problem and was able to fix it.
But no one will be forced to download any 3rd party app. App Store is not going anywhere, most people will continue using their phone just like they did before.
Back in 2019 i build a computer with athlon ge 200. Was using it until i bought 1600 a couole momths after. Sure, athlon was not a powerhouse, however, it was a good cpu for basic home computer. And the fact it played a lot of older games without problems was nuts.
