Dehumanizing isn’t about being inhumane. It’s about denying the people are even human. They are only objects to you when you dehumanize them.
You are arguing for this.
By using the tactics used by colonizers? The same tactic used by the Nazis against “subhumans”? Is this really the road we want go down again as society?
What good does dehumanizing do? Genuinely curious
Hideo is a horny bastard and you should’ve seen it coming.
Yes? They literally are?
Jesus Christ this place is toxic as hell
The indiscriminate slaughter of citizens of both Germany and foreign nations to replace them with “superior people”. See holocaust
We call WW2 a war despite all of the horrors against humanity was done during that. So why is this any different?
Hides it from who? Some dude who has lived under a rock and thinks a war of aggression is a good thing?
Genocide and war aren’t mutually exclusive

2·3 years agoHow I see it is that every decentralized system with people is going to form some sort of centralization unless you actively fight against it.
In Lemmy’s case, new people will check what are the biggest communities and go there, and since there are more people there, it attract even more people. More people, more communities in that instance.

7·3 years agoPeople couldn’t care less if it’s centralized or not. People come for the community, not the tech behind it. Also people are lazy, they will use the easiest thing that comes up. Why should one go to another instance, if the one they are right now works great?
I am not saying that this system is bad. I am just saying that people will always take the easiest option there is.
