Seized component that’s not allowing crankshaft to turn (bc it’s attached to the crank via drive belt) has a unique sound or characteristic when you try to start car. IF that’s what’s happening it’s most often a clutch-style AC compressor locked up. I’ve not known alternators to be able to lock up that hard. Troubleshooting this is seeing if it starts with the serpentine belt removed. Hydraulic belt tensioner, apply constant pressure and they slowly release.
Depends on climate. The water portion does the cooling, the “coolant” portion is the lubricant and prevents electrolysis and corrosion. That mix in the southern US May gel, but way up north where winter temps are extreme, -40F or lower it has better freeze protection whereas a 50/50 could still freeze.

I worked in fleet garage when I was in federal prison and lost my fkin mind bc they didn’t do shit. Days were so long, When they finally let me do shit, fixed everything they’d had for ages in like a day n then there wasn’t shit else to do. Was only serving 6 month sentence and not required to have a job so they let me quit after 4 days. Thought it would pass time but… nope.
Exactly what happened last week, they fired me. If I go back to work in identical position I’ll only bring home 3-400$ more per week than my UI benefit. Think I’ll ride it out practice wage negotiation in interviews instead of settling for the first offer.
