1 year agoI haven’t watched any of their long form content but actually stopped watching the short form reviews because I started noticing some mistakes in their videos about cars I actually knew something about… they make lots of generalizations about who buys a car new, why it sold well/poorly, what people initially used the car for, and so on. When those generalizations aren’t accurate, what’s the point of watching the rest of the video?
I have no doubt that their long form content is much better researched, but if someone’s actually looking to learn something about a specific car (because really, that’s what RCR seems to be all about), I would look elsewhere. Probably a buyer’s guide or something very vehicle specific.
I bet you could actually import these for off road use to the US since they’re electric (no EPA requirements) and can probably be governed to 20 mph. There are several dealers out there legally importing brand new speed governed Kei vehicles and I’d imagine the process would be similar here.
