Just because Egypt is in Africa doesn’t automatically make Egyptians black. Look at a map. Northern Africa and Egypt were just as much part of southern Europe and the Middle East.

Neither is Pennsylvania, this map is way off.
“Term of service”? Shmerms of shmervice. Fuck all the way off, there’s a hundred other games that we can be playing.
The developers have acknowledged the problem and say they’re working on a fix.
No thank you.
I’m not trying to be a dick but I’m genuinely curious why you would want a portable monitor to use with your portable deck?
With amount of times I have have to write down my address for work, I would love to live in donkey town.
More of their bullshitery. I had the audacity to use my browser to click a reddit link.
I’ve heard some dating sites are like this…
This is why I had to block them from my home feed. Way too many random posts that, because of the nature of the “rule”, aren’t very interesting.

I’ve also noticed that I’m losing interest in gaming recently. Whenever I get notified by steam that something on my wishlist is on sale I just look at it and move on. I started playing chess again for the first time since I was I kid and it’s been keeping me satisfied.
Well, both have a brightly colored cake.
My hope is that if enough people block an instance, it’ll just die out over time from not enough interaction.
It’s not even enjoyable for me because it’s literal spam posts. It’s like the old school sex phone commercials. Doesn’t matter what the hot girl is doing or saying in the commercial, just put my show back on.
I’m not even that old (no offense) and I do that too. I’ll use apps if it doesn’t collect any data, and preferably FOSS, like Voyager. Anyways, thanks for the tip, I’ll log in on browser for my instance blocking needs.
Edit: jk, according to another comment, it’s not available on lemmy.world at the moment. Soon though.
My reasoning is that the people should be the “mods” essentially. If one community gets blocked by the majority of the people, then it might as well not exist. It will eventually die out through not enough people upvoting/downvoting, commenting, and basically interacting with them at all. The “any publicity is good publicity” saying applies to anything on the Internet.
This is another instance I would like to block. The onlyfans brigade is strong on lemmy.
Did you do it through an app or browser?
Holy run-on sentences. I agree with you, but it was done, it’s already in the museums. Signing petitions and raising awareness of agencies/museums that are trying to get the stuff back is probably a better way to funnel your frustrations.
