I have a ISP default modem(Huawei HG659b) and a 3rd party compatible router set up. I want to use DDNS on my 3rd party router but can’t get public IP onto it. I’ve tried setting VDSL into bridge mode on modem, but router still did not get WAN IP. I also read that DHCP passthrough may be a solution but I’m not sure. If anyone has dealt with similar issue inputs will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
TLDR: can’t get public IP on downstream router, help.
