They literally cannot make you pay them, and they are used to insurance companies not paying the full price, so they are already prepared to write it off as a tax loss. You give everyone free healthcare and people will be going to the ER for allergies and it will slow down the entire medical system. You needn’t look farther than Canada.

They CAN make you pay them. They can go as far as garnishing your wages if you just ignore them.
