News / Nintendo Network Shutdown: The last Splatoon 1 automatically generated rotation is on now
If you’ve been browsing the internet, there’s a select few which have kept their consoles on to play Splatoon 1 until the absolute end.
The last ever rotation generated by Nintendo servers started 40 minutes ago and will end at 11pm GMT. From what I’ve heard, Pretendo is also using this system and will switch rotation systems from 11pm.

If you want to follow the situation, the “last” player will be reporting everything that happens on their Twitter.

Apparently 9 players are known to be still connected to Nintendo Network servers, I suspect it’ll be dropping down to 8 soon.

Don’t recognise any of these names other than fishguy which helped expose the RCE exploit that you might remember us reporting a year and 5 months ago.
Great piece of Internet history. If it wasn’t that he was revealed to be a cheap plagiarist, it would bhave been a good story for the Internet Historian.
