    Thinking about the time when people on social media the internet wouldn’t make up completely pointless and easily disproven shit for likes

      I miss when people made original images instead of changing a few words on a meme template and having it spammed everywhere. It’s like talking to people who can’t have a conversation without quoting a TV show

        The tech to do it used to be expensive and or clunky to use. Modern tech has made it easier and cheaper, so the entry bar is lower. So while it’s always been there, there is also a lot more than there used to be.

          Nah you’re good. People just like to feel smart/feel like they did a “gotcha” when they “prove” someone wrong who spoke in a absolute. When it was blatantly obvious it was implied to not be an absolute term
