I followed the steps here

Pretty straight forward to install with just a one line command. But when I install the android client and import the config from QR code it doesn’t connect. Am I missing anything else that is not mentioned in that guide? I’m installing the server on my linux machine at home and only did what is mentioned in that guide. Not very experienced with these things at all so I would appreciate some help to get setup. I’m trying to help friends escape internet censorship.
