First two questions are related to the Berserker subclass of the Barbarian class. I am trying to make sense of it.

1. Frenzy description says “your Rage turns into a frenzy as you release your unquenchable fury and bloodlust”. What is Rage exactly? Looks like I can cast the ability at any point in combat so I think Rage might be irrelevant but I wanted to make sure anyway.

2. I would like to throw stuff as Berserker for damage but I am not sure what are some good things to chuck that I can pick up. Any suggestions for this? So far I have only thrown a mind flayer corpse but the range on that was not good.

The third question is about long rests.

3. Is there any downside to long rests? I was thinking we will turn into mind flayers if we take too long but I am not sure if that is the case.

Thanks.

I think the dev is using the same markdown parser as the reddit version. Since !> was the syntax for spoilers on reddit it works on Sync.

There isn’t a spec for spoilers in markdown so applications use their own definition for it. The ::: spoiler title format has been in use in Lemmy since the beginning which is why I went for it.

That aside, I’m not too far off from where you’re describing, so:

      !1.) Yes, I believe so?!<

!2.) Personally, I like chucking mobs off ledges for the dmg+prone and then shooting/casting at them with another PC in range at advantage. Technically, you could also stockpile non-magical weapons, especially ones you don’t have proficiency for, and huck those at enemies.!<

!3.) AFAIK, there’s an internal formula that D&D uses to balance encounters per LR, though the pressure of mutating at any point is certainly present, and I don’t know that I’d tell you even if I knew? 🤓 I mean, wouldn’t that ruin an integral part of the game’s first few playthroughs!<
