Hello there,
am I wrong in that the general consensus right now is that Lightning is too complicated and time-consuming for the average Bitcoin user (including setting up lightning nodes etc)? Is it ready for the whole world? Surely not in its current state?
I was thinking: From a user experience it would be most comfortable, if there’s an app that operates on the Lightning network, but can basically link a trust to your private key on Layer 1, just like you link your Paypal account to your bank wire. It would obviously have to be open source architecture and you wouldn’t have to transfer coins from your wallet beforehand (like in Lightning) to use it.
Is this idea out of this world or even technically possible? I’m obviously not the first person with this thought, is there like a place, where we can inform ourselves with current developments the coders are trying to program/implement for the Bitcoin network?
Thank you!
