It wasn’t amazing, but 1 star is just circlejerking in the opposite direction.
Idk I liked it a lot. Not because it was deep or anything. I just liked the writing and acting. It was also an immersive experience for me, not sure why.
I unironically think it’s a better Joker origin(s) than the comics gave us.
That’s not a hard bar to surpass though.
It really is devastating for such a short review.

It is amazing how much this film borrowed from King Of Comedy. Almost to the point of being reminiscent of Magnificent Seven remaking Seven Samurai to appeal to a wider audience.
