It’s been an amazing five years with Tom Clancy's The Division 2. From launch to Warlords of New York, new game modes to the ongoing Year 5 Season 3, our age...
Dz is fun but I personally liked the setup of the dz in 1 better. But 2 I think does the pve contebf better. I just got back into it again recently and I’m loving it. I wanna try to get more into the pvp stuff but conflict is always a shit show
The PvE is quite nice. I think most of ardent Division 1 PvE players I know have switched fully to Division 2. Maybe somewhat to the studio’s goal, Division 1 support was dropped too abruptly for the majority to still playing it.
The dark zone has not really improved, if you are seeking the Divison 1 one. The map in 2 lacks size and complexity for PvPvE (like multi level buildings or the tunnel in the north), and the server lacks maximum group size.
That’s sad about the dark zone, was really hoping they’d backpedal their changes in 2 because it was cool in 1. Oh well. Glad to hear PvE is going well.
Darkzone is probably still the same. Never played the darkzone because what you said… meh. Did like the atmosphere of the games especially division 1. But i hated the bullet sponges. You get 750 ammo with a weapon and need 400 to down 1 enemy and when you have a nice upgrade, doesnt really matter because the npcs levelup 3x more then you do. Never really got to feel powerful in this game. But when playing on normal its doable and nice walking around in a desolate city because the details and atmos in these games where/are great.
I never particularly got far into 2 after release. How is the game now compared to 1 at the end of its cycle?
Is the dark zone still… meh?
