Hello,
I’m trying to populate my Google Workspace directory with new badge numbers for both external entry (primary number in papercut) and internal doors (secondary number in papercut). I have the sync working as expected, but the cards aren’t scanning in correctly when done at the MFP. I tried the hex2dec option, but while that looked better, it isn’t matching the numbers.
True, vanilla RFID scans:
Internal: 2446487570 External: 0000982075
Papercut Logged Numbers (dual frequency cards, so I’m not super sure which is which)
1270D291 and 20000EFC3B
Papercut logged numbers after hex2dec:
137439935547 and 309383825
I don’t see a way to reprogram at the MFP, but I have tried to switch the “ID Card Read Type” setting to all of the options, which still results in having the same reads. I admit that I have no idea what the other read settings do, and I wasn’t able to find them in any manuals.
Here is a link to a screenshot of that config page.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to go about figuring ot how these are encoded and/or how to get papercut to see the “true” scan that has been entered into Google, that would be excellent.
Thanks for any help!
