I know this subreddit is probably sick of posts detailing the frankly mental cost of stuff over the last year or so but I just dropped into my usual chipper after a few pints in the pub and paid €4 for a bag of chips. I remember it being €2 not so long ago and back when I was in secondary school they’d do a bartered sausage and chips for €1.50. Am I being mugged or is this a regular occurrence across the country?
