I have actually been averse to the fediverse for a while now, but after seeing the progress of this app I’m feeling differently.

I am a massive stickler when it comes to UI. I just have two requests that would make it significantly more tolerable for me.

  1. Right now hiding profile avatars doesn’t seem to work.

  2. An option to remove the upvote/downvote and comment buttons from each comment would condense and vastly improve the layout IMO. The swipe actions cover that functionality.

With these changes, the app would be pretty damn close to the setup I had with Apollo.

      Thanks. Wouldn’t this be better kept in the Appearance section of Settings rather than the Content settings?

        Pretty sure I had it in Appearance and people complained that it should be in Content lol. Idk what the best option is.

          Oh, sorry about that. I appreciate all the work that has gone into to this app. I guess you should just put that setting wherever you want and tell all of us to bug out. Haha.

    Agreed. Right now there are 3 ways to reply to a comment. Swipe, press the reply button next to each comment. Or use the context menu (3 dots). I would remove the dedicated reply button and move the upvote and downvote buttons into the context menu.

      It’s very weird to me that Memmy refuses to just use the upvote count arrow next to the username for upvotes/downvotes, like dozens of other apps do.
