Eller’s importance to the 2018 Capitals cup run cannot be understated.
He scored the OT-Game winner that got Washington their first win of the playoffs (and stopped Columbus going up 0-3). He moved up the lineup when Backstrom went down with a bad hand. And then to cap it all, he scored the Stanley Cup winning goal against Vegas.
