    But did it really? If it had won, platforms like Lemmy, Mastodon and KBin wouldn’t be gaining ground. Time will definitely tell and while Reddit may have won the battle in the short term. It most likely hasn’t won the war in the long term.

    Spez is a horrible unifier and he knows this. Corporate interests are what’s on his mind and he’s kissing Musk’s ass under the table out of admiration. It won’t last.

      Reddit won because the entire point was to shake out the outspoken troublemakers and pivot to the Facebook and Instagram crowd which is seen as easier to monetize.

      I’m guessing Spez (Steve Huffman) is going to take the next exit he can. Then, a new CEO can come on promising changes and blame Steve for all the problems.
