Comedian Rob Schneider called out United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby in a recent X post, accusing the CEO of pushing diversity in his company at the expense of safety.
“I cannot tell you how many @UnitedAirlines employees have personally thanked me for my valid criticism of your careless and life-threatening leadership,” Schneider wrote…
I fly almost exclusively United. I can say their quality has dropped. In 2022 a big snowstorm blew in and United had to suspend operations. They felt it was ‘unsafe’ to fly.
I had to switch my flight to American. The pilot said many of our other competitors had to cancel flights due to their staff not being highly trained pilots. I was a B-52 pilot tasked with dropping nuclear weapons in all weather conditions. A little snow isn’t going to stop us.
Ever since then I have had United flights canceled over minor issues and may be switching to another carrier. Diversity is great but they need to be highly trained pilots first
And then everybody clapped.
