      Occasionally I’ll see a back bench MP stand up to the government, and I realize why the conservatives as a political party exist. I would never vote for them, but they could be moderately reasonable when they tried, but lately they’ve just stopped trying and now they’re just going after the ultra-nationalist moron vote.

      Even if you were that way politically inclined, it isn’t the 19th century anymore, isolationism and xenophobia are not viable long-term strategies.

      They don’t need to “Stop The Boats”, they need to encourage immigration of talented people, what the hell are they doing?

      I do think though that a lot of people are going to be quite disappointed when the next government don’t actually do very much.
