Ohh, usually you can, but currently we have defederated from all instance due to an exploit of Lemmy UI that see multiple instance getting hacked and defaced, so we’re now like in quarantine, no one can see us and we can’t see the outside.

good morning. can you please check with the tech team if they restarted the lemmy backend/server after re-enabling federation? if not, I think it needs a restart for federation to be working again. thank you.

ok, thanks for checking. I’m quite sure it will require a restart of at least the lemmy backend (for all the api routes required for federation to be properly initialized).
if it still isn’t working after the restart, then we have to start worrying that the problem may be more serious.
