Why or why not and what do you use it for?
Some of the communities I frequent still haven’t migrated over to Lemmy.
Oh hey, this is actually my first Lemmy comment. Sup party people
Lemmy has fully replaced Reddit for my casual scrolling needs. But for research purposes for things like buying advice, tech support, etc I still find myself at Reddit. Lemmy may get there someday, but it’s not there yet.
I didn’t delete my account because I hate permanently removing information from the internet. I get annoyed when links are dead or information is lost. I understand why others are doing it, but I can’t help but be sad at all the information we’ve lost and I won’t contribute to that.
Is everyone too afraid to say it? Porn.
Lemmy has a thriving porn community, it’s disgusting you would love it I’m sure.
One good indicator that Lemmy is becoming popular is how many people are posting their bits on it!

oh my God, how terrible!! Where, so I can avoid it?
The legend goes that if you say it three times a naked dude dressed as an embarrassed fox appears and blushes at you (with his penis out)
Naturally I’m aware of that, however right now it’s only the main communities, smaller communities still lie dormant.
I hope you find what you’re looking for!
I keep meaning to go over there and re-save all the links and recipes and stuff that I have saved up from years and years, but I haven’t gotten around to it. I did delete the app from my phone though, so I’m not tempted to scroll it all day (I just scroll Lemmy all day now instead).
I deleted my account after a week when I found out Sync for reddit was done for. I am now waiting for Sync for Lemmy. I only use reddit when it gives me a result in Google search. So far I am loving Lemmy and Mastadon. I thought about looking at Pixelfed. Even if my friends/family don’t use it.
Ive been with Reddit since 2007, fuck em.
I haven’t cared enough to delete it. Before I would always have a tab open for Reddit and would check it from my phone (on Apollo) throughout the day. Now I only browse Lemmy/Mastrodon/RSS, but if I google something and it comes up with a Reddit link, I have no qualms clicking it to see if it has the information I need.
I don’t intend to ever comment or post on Reddit again, and my page views have gone from many per day to once or twice a week.
I will visit the site because there is too much good information to ignore. Using Libreddit and hoping that Reddit doesn’t kill that service.
Yes. There’s more contents there. Let’s face it, it’s empty here.
I haven’t 100% given up on maybe, just maybe, baconreader might start working again.
It’s the only way I log in to reddit, and have not been back since the 1st.
In a month or so, I’ll log in through the web browser and figure out how to delete my comments and then remove the account.
Happy enough here that I’ve had no desire to log in to reddit.
My accounts were all permanently suspended, so I don’t think I can delete them. I still have saved posts I check on.
I’m waiting for some support subs to make it over.
I’ve looked at the rebelliousness a few times on a few subreddits
I check r/onepiece because I want spoilers and theories. The last 3 years hasn’t had any theories anyways. If anyone knows of a community here where I can get spoilers and theories, please let me know
I keep it for r/watchexchange. Nobody has written a sales moderator bot for Lenny/kbin, and I don’t even know if the apis are mature enough for someone to do that. So communities like that will probably stay with reddit until they can’t or the alternative is mature enough
